home invasion

I've got this big dead stump in my back yard that I decided to take a few swings at after mowing today. Thousands of ants came pouring out after I overturned a couple large chunks. Anyone want to start an ant farm?

Yesterday I just planted the first tree my yard has ever seen since I've lived here. I went outside early this morning to admire it before work. I walked halfway out there and there he was, I call him Peter the plant & shrub executioner. My yard has turned into a rabbit safe-haven, all the yards around me are filled with dogs & cats. If you have any advice on how to get a city of rabbits out of your yard, please let me know.
